Things you can do to help

We are always looking for committed volunteers who would like to get involved.
If you are looking for a place to serve the community, please consider one of these positions.

Front Desk Receptionists:

work a minimum of one 3 hour shift a month.  For

example: the first Thursday of each month from 9:00 AM

to 12:00 PM.      

 

 

 

Volunteer Class Instructors:

are a major contributor to the success of the Center.  

Yoga, Water Color, Oil Painting, Line Dancing, Ballroom

Dance, Beginners Bridge, Weights and Computer Classes

are all taught by qualified volunteer instructors.

 

 

 

Seamstresses and Knitters: 

are working constantly to create stuffed dolls and bears

that are donated to the Children’s Hospital at Hershey

Medical Center and also Micro Preemie clothing and

blankets for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at HMC.

 

 

 

Monthly Social Volunteers:

are on a rotating schedule.  They come in to help set up

tables and chairs, prepare food, waitress and clean up. 


 

Special Event Committee Members:

are made up of many people in various capacities

depending on the special project we are promoting.

 

 

 

Administrative Volunteers:

assist the staff with mailings, phone calling, and light

office work.

 

 

 

AARP Volunteers:

teach the Safe Driver’s course and prepare Federal

Income Taxes for free.

 

 

 

Mohler Board Members:

are all volunteers.  The Board meets once a month

and consists of various professional and non-

professional men and women who have a passion

for the success of the Center.
